Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable. They pass our cleaning tests, and can handle different flooring. Choose models that allow you to choose between multiple modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

Many of the best models are compatible with smartphones. Check for an application that lets you save maps, create schedules and select cleaning options.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of rooms and floors.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile and a large rug. It easily drove close to walls without crashing into them and even managed to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, but it sometimes had trouble navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rug.

After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills up its water tank onboard with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary dependent on how often you use the mop.

The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to clean the dirty water tank occasionally to avoid it from clogging. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to keep them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. But, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other combinations that require more care.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs' all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an efficient solution for cleaning. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than simply drag a pad across a surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when required.

The robot is simple to set up and use, with a clear interface that guides you through the procedure. It includes an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged to reach those areas the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and filled whenever required. It also has a range of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can easily remove dirt and other debris that other robots have difficulty with.  best robot hoover  are also pretty good, although it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Its mopping is quite excellent, too, with a pair of spinning mops that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station when needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It is a great cleaner, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the  best robot vacuum s and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush will give you a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our tests' most soiled areas efficiently, while keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other dirt. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that extends to reach hard-to-reach areas, and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.

Its navigation is smart, navigating narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can move from one room to another without reversing direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than some competitors however, and tends to leave a large margin over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The interface of the app is easy to use and streamlined. It should be easy to use for both novices and experienced users. The app lets you plan and manage cleanings, adjust suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You will require a stable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing debris and dirt however, it's not able to reach every last bit of dust. It's important to vacuum frequently, every week. This is especially true for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to do exactly that. It is easy to connect to your home WiFI network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it is cheaper because it does not have mopping capabilities and has an aluminum body.

The Q5 remains one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've seen at this price even though it's not able to clean your floors. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleanings and choose the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.

Its mops also impress, with a 2700Pa capacity to tackle dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have problems with carpets with high piles or area carpets, but it didn't pick up cables or kitty litter and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that allows it to reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums are unable to. The device also stores dust in a larger bin which means you have empty it less frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters which further reduces the expenses associated with using the device. The robot is also able to detect carpets and boost the suction if needed. The app also allows you to mark off areas you want to stay clear of this is a useful feature.
